Lakeland University

Since Lakeland University’s founding in 1862, we’ve been a leader in finding ways to help students make their dreams come true.

Lakeland is an innovative, affordable, four-year, private university that integrates the liberal arts with experiential learning through its award-winning Cooperative Education program. While other schools offer Co-Op and internship programs, Lakeland is the only school in the Midwest offering students, no matter their major, an opportunity to earn a full year of academic credit for their work experience — allowing students to earn valuable professional experience and control the cost of college!

Lakeland also offers access to online courses for students who need more flexibility due to a full schedule with work and co-curricular. Lakeland gives students access to 40+ clubs/organizations and 20+ NCAA athletic teams.

A Personal Experience
Teachers and coaches take the interest and time to really know you, challenge you, and prepare you to do great things.
